Professionally
I've always been fascinated by Space and had a dream of participating in the grand challenge of exploring and utilising it. In particular, I strive to use it to benefit the people here, on Earth. I've been doing my best pursuing these dreams, which have been coming true for the past couple years.
The pursuit of becoming a space professional has led me to the University of Southampton, from which I graduated in 2013 as a Master of Engineering in Aeronautics & Astronautics specialising in Spacecraft Design. Due to my inquisitiveness and curiosity I've decided to pursue higher education, however, which has led me to starting a doctorate, also at Southampton.
During my higher education I discovered that what I'm interested in the most are Systems Engineering and Mission Analysis (planning how to fly spacecraft, generally speaking). I also happen to be a pretty skilled in programming and data analysis. My ultimate ambition and dream is to combine these individual interests and work in the area of spacecraft operations.
I'm just finishing a PhD at the University of Southampton, and a large portion of this website is about my research. However, I've also been working on several other interesting projects. You can learn about a few of those here.

Personally
I spend a lot of my time tinkering. Most often by writing software (some of my software projects are on my github) and sometimes by doing DIY or taking part in other, larger projects. I'm creative and strive to promote it, so I do my best to find the time to do plenty of sailing and other sports, primarily running. I also learn to play base guitar and to dance tango.
