My research
Most of my research is concerned with the problem of space debris which, as you can see in the picture at the top of this site, constitutes a large portion of all man-made objects currently in orbit around Earth. This is becoming a large problem as we may not be able to use the vital resource of Space in the future because of the risk that our spacecraft could collide with the debris.
I did my PhD in the field of space debris, under supervision of one of the World's expert in the field, Dr Hugh Lewis. If you're interested, you can learn more about the motivation for doing research in this field as well as about the goals of my project. I published a number of papers on the topics related to space debris whilst at the University of Southampton, you can read most of them here.
